YES Connect

YES Connect was launched last year to include entrepreneurial Years 12 and 13 students not participating in the programme through school (although those working on YES through their school can also attend YES Connect events). YES has traditionally been school-centred, with students unable to participate if their school does not offer the programme.

YES Connect gives students the chance to participate in the regional YES competition independently, and receive mentoring support and assistance with pitch delivery outside school.

A teacher will merely be required to register the student at the beginning of the competition running from February to October.

YES, delivered in the region by the Smart Waikato Trust, will also work with Innovation Station - University of Waikato to assist students with delivering a business pitch in a Dragon’s Den environment.
More information is available at the information day Friday March 4th at Wintec Atrium, Wintec House.

Email levinia "at" to find out more about YES Connect.

(NB all students participating in YES in Waikato- King Country are welcome to all events).
