Free Job Board promotes work opportunities for Waikato Youth

The new FutureForce® Job Board from Smart Waikato Trust, provides an easy to use digital platform whereby employers post an opportunity which is presented to suitable young people via careers advisors and work brokers.

FutureForce® Job Board is an automated, free to use forum for talented youth to be made aware of workplace opportunities, including work experience, internships, cadetships, apprenticeships or employment.  Employers can register suitable work opportunities for young people at, which are then automatically sent to Waikato-based educators (secondary and tertiary) and youth work brokers.  Educators and work brokers put forward candidates they think would be a good fit for the opportunity.  Employers then select their preferred candidates according to their usual processes.

Smart Waikato's purpose is to empower youth through real education to employment pathways.  Smart Waikato Trust is best known for Smart Transitions, Secondary School Employer Partnerships (SSEP), FutureForce® Action Network, and co-ordination of the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) in the region. As part of Smart Transitions, they have developed this exciting new initiative, the FutureForce® Job Board, developed with support from Hamilton City Council.
